Tanzania
In August and September of 2019 Larry and I spent three extraordinary weeks immersed in the wilds of the beautiful country of Tanzania. We had the once-in-a-lifetime experience of watching thousands of wildebeests and zebras congregating along the banks of the Mara river and eventually making the treacherous crossing from Kenya into Tanzania, complete with Nile crocodiles in the rushing water. While the crossing was very challenging to photograph, Larry captured several thousand images of the incredible array of animals and sceneryof Tanzania. The photos in this gallery represent many of our favorites.
